Public Notice of Mandatory Cleaner Production Audit Results
In accordance with the Cleaner Production Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China, the Measures for Cleaner Production Audit, and relevant provincial requirements, Shandong Szehang Welding Materials Co., Ltd. (the Company) conducted a mandatory cleaner production audit from April 2025 to March 2026, with technical support from Dezhou Langqi Information Consulting Service Co., Ltd. The audit has now been successfully completed, and the main results are announced as follows:
Number of options and investment: A total of 6 cleaner production options were implemented, including 3 low/no-cost options and 3 medium/high-cost options. Total investment was RMB 340,800, generating annual economic benefits of RMB 241,700.
Resource and energy savings:
9,800 kg of steam saved
2,550 m³/year of water saved
0.48 t/year of diesel reduced
3.75 t/year of copper sulfate reduced
Pollution reduction:
SO₂ emissions reduced by 16.2 kg/year
NOₓ emissions reduced by 19.4 kg/year
Acidic copper-containing wastewater discharge reduced by 2,550 m³/year
COD reduced by 0.13 t/year
Total copper reduced by 0.00113 t/year
Hazardous waste (sludge) generation reduced by 13 t/year
Economic benefits:
Fuel cost saved: RMB 4,000/year
Hazardous waste disposal cost saved: RMB 40,000/year
Raw material cost saved: RMB 33,700/year
Water cost saved: RMB 14,000/year
Labor cost saved: RMB 150,000/year
The implemented options have effectively achieved the goals of energy saving, consumption reduction, pollution abatement, and efficiency improvement, delivering both environmental and economic benefits.
After comprehensive evaluation, the Company’s overall cleaner production level is rated as General Level of Domestic Cleaner Production.
On March 20, 2026, an expert panel organized by the Dezhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment conducted on-site verification, report review, and data inspection. Based on the panel’s feedback, the Company completed all required on-site improvements and supplementary documentation.
On April 2, 2026, following re-evaluation by the expert panel, it was unanimously agreed that the Company’s cleaner production audit process was compliant, the documentation was complete, and all options were properly implemented, meeting the requirements of the Guidelines for Cleaner Production Audit Evaluation and Acceptance. The mandatory cleaner production audit has been officially accepted.
